The career of Debbie Bliss started at the tender age of 17 when she enrolled at a London art school and began to work with textile materials. The free spirit of the 70s then was quite unusual: Debbie designed three-dimensional knitting flowers, and not only Elton John and the London department store Liberty's showed their interest.
Since then she has become one of the best known knitting designers worldwide and designs in the meantime, also for fashion chains such as "The Gap" and department stores such as "Marks & Spencer" designed.
She sells her own Garnlabel "Debbie Bliss", which she founded in 1999, through Designer Yarns. She is very successful not only in England, but also in the US, in Europe and beyond.
